2020 Nominations Open!

Nominations for the 2020 round of Limited Theatrical Release are now open! The tagset can be found here.

Please comment on the eligibility post before submitting your nomination if your nomination meets any of the following conditions:

• film fandom category has over 1000 works on AO3 or may have over 1000 works at the time the mods check it 
• film is only listed under a Series or All Media Types category on AO3, and that Series/All Media Types category contains over 1000 works 
• film is based on other source material (e.g. a book) and has not yet been given its own AO3 category 
• relationship nomination includes a specific OC tag 

As a reminder...

Participants may nominate up to 10 fandoms with up to 20 "characters" per fandom (character tags may be used for single characters, relationships, or "None" tags).

 

Relationships between two or more characters should be nominated as individual "characters”. To nominate a relationship, simply put "group:" before their names, in the following format:

 

group: Character X/Character Y (Movie Name)

group: Character X & Character Y (Movie Name)

group: Character X/Character Y & Character Z (Movie Name)

 

You are welcome to nominate original characters as part of & or / relationships with a canon character. If you are attempting to nominate an OC tag more specific than Original Character(s), Original Male Character(s), Original Female Character(s), or Original Genderless Character(s), please comment on the eligibility post first or your nomination may be rejected. 

 

If you are interested in worldbuilding or any non-canon-character-centric exploration of the nominated movie, you must nominate the tag “None” as an individual “character”, in the following format: None (Movie Name). 

 

Crossovers between eligible movies may be nominated under the fandom "Crossover Fandom." When nominating them, please use the format "group: Character X (Movie A)/Character Y (Movie B) & Character Z (Movie C)", "group: None (Movie C) & None (Movie D)", etc.
